Ok!! HELLO!!! This little Miss has been stalked by me for more months than she has been alive at this point! When her mom Mindy and her dad Rick were expecting her, they asked me to do Maternity Portraits of her 8 month pregnant Belly!! Well OF COURSE I said Yes!!! I LOVE photographing families…And to have them ask me to photograph all of her first year milestones from photographing her actual Birth to her 1, 3, 6, 9 and NOW her 12 months pictures…It has ALL been such a fun blessing!

I hope you enjoy a look back through Petra’s first year in my Family Gallery! I’m hoping to make a collage of images to share with the families I photograph to show how fun this process has been!

Mindy & Rick truly felt it was important to photograph their growth as a family. Starting with Mindy’s Maternity Portraits that we took when she was 8 months pregnant, to documenting their Home Birth, to Petra’s One month, Three month, Six month and now Nine month portraits right here! It’s been such a blessing to see her grow so quickly, developing a quirkiness that is truly Rick’s and a sweetness that is all Mindy’s….And Petra has the most FANTASTIC Eyes…Dontcha think?!!!

Enjoy and be on the look out for her 12 month photos later this Fall!! ; )

This post is just for fun!! Why? Because I L-I-K-E F-U-N!!! And my friends are pretty darn great and I just had to share!! And besides the fact, most of them have started these beautiful little families, and that just needed some acknowledgment!

Legacy: bequeath, gift, share, hand down, inspire… These are all words that come to mind when thinking of what our lives mean to those we care about!

Ok, this little Doll…nicknamed PJ…has been waddlin’ around on this earth for just over a month now…Rick & Mindy are so happy to have her and they’ve all been having a ball getting to know one another….Seems she’s finally set a record of sleeping 6 hours at a stretch..Though that Has only happened ONCE so far!! *smiles*…Best wishes playin’ in the SNOW!!!
